Enjoy strolling our soothing gardens found on a large corner lot in the hot San Fernando Valley. A dry creek bed wanders through the woodland meadow of native grasses out in front, then wraps around into the side yard which bursts with colorful blooms of California lilacs, fairy dusters, Mexican marigolds, and California poppies. Explore how rainwater is captured in the permeable driveway of upcycled concrete pieces set in decomposed granite, while downspouts from the house roof feed into the creek through concealed pipes, filling it with water on rainy days and irrigating nearby plants. Last but not least, our backyard oasis beckons with numerous native plants in pots, bubbling fountains, and a labyrinth.
