About the Garden

This small urban garden has two different sections. The first, the front yard, is the public space. This area has created community, especially during this time of year when the plants are at their most showy. Neighbors stop to chat and admire the display. The second section is the back yard, the private space. Upon first entry, people use words like “sanctuary” and “haven.” They’re surprised such a small space can create such a strong presence.
