07-California Native Tudor Revival Cottage

Welcome to our garden, designed to honor both its fairy-tale aspirations and its native SoCal roots. It dreamed of becoming an English cottage garden, lush and overgrown, with winding paths opening onto welcoming places to rest. A wild, verdant look is achievable with native plants that offer a variety of blooms throughout the year, and require very little water and no fertilizer. The garden features several discrete seating areas, just enough groundcover for the dog to roll around on, lots of trees to create a space inviting discovery and camaraderie. We hope our garden inspires others to craft their garden visions with sustainable, native California plants.
