About the Garden

Our native garden serves as a comfortable space for dining and relaxation, fostering gatherings with friends, seamlessly connecting the interior and exterior. Initially a typical Southern California landscape with a grass lawn and a pool, the garden underwent a transformation to accommodate family, friends, and pets. It now boasts 20 trees and an abundance of native plants. Visitors and residents often gather on the front bench for neighborly chats or gather around the fire pit, while they appreciate the soothing sounds of the planter-turned-water feature. The garden has become a thriving ecosystem, attracting Monarch butterflies, hummingbirds, and lizards, thanks to its diverse array of vegetation and the insects that frequent the yard.
