About the Garden

Casa Apocalyptica imagines our native ecology returning through the rubble after people are gone. It is a large, established native garden in a central urban area featuring multiple habitat types (sun, shade, riparian, aquatic, cliffside), reclaimed materials, and watered only by hand. It also features an extensive collection of California-native geophytes.
