18-New Horizon School Peace Garden

The garden grew out of a desire to develop a space that not only inspires nature appreciation and environmental stewardship but also serves as an outdoor classroom that enriches student learning in STEM and other subject areas. The school and wider community come together through classes, volunteering, and weekend workshops to nurture native plants and trees, plant seasonal vegetables, and support this wildlife habitat. This beautiful garden, which experiences all of the seasons, celebrates harmony between people and nature—an inspiring example of how education, ecology, and beauty can grow side-by-side.
