About the Garden

“The Walton Family Garden is paradise to animals and people. You can play, run, skip and jump (just not on the plants). Look and see the beautiful orange and yellow poppies, they are so pretty. Lizards just love sunbathing on the cool rocks. Smell that? It must be the woolly bluecurls, they smell like grape bubble gum. I love the California bluebells and baby blue eyes; they are my favorite color (blue). And yes, my name is Ivy, like the plant, so it’s perfect. Hope you like the garden.’ -Ivy Jane Walton, age 7
